what i should be doing

What I should be doing is studying for test #2 of my second semester of nursing school.  This test is over prenatal, OB, and post pardum.  A few things I know all too well about!  After learning everything that I have regarding these subjects, I realize just how lucky we are to have Madelyn and Cooper.  The odds for the entire reproduction process are quite startling and I am thankful for our two beautiful children!

Okay...a few funny things.

Cooper told me he wanted to play with "Potato Face"...you and I know him as Mr. Potato Head!  He actually makes really good Mr. Potato heads!

Cooper has a picture with him and his friend Summer from school.  I put it on the fridge yesterday for him to see and he had to check on it twice today, making sure that Summer was still there.  Here is the pic (too cute for words!)

And Miss Madelyn...

She is turning into such a little girl.  I mean "little" in that I have never seen her so skinny and "little girl" meaning she is no longer a baby or a toddler (sniff, sniff.)  This evening I was sitting in the other room listening to her play a game with Cooper.  She showed him how to play and then cheered him on when he did good.  It was a proud moment for this mommy.  Not sure how she turned out so wonderful...she must get that from her daddy!
