We have a Young Scholar in our house! Madelyn moved up in her class from a Honeybee to a Young Scholar (sniff, sniff). This is the class that will prepare her for kindergarten next year. She was so excited yesterday morning and walked right in like it wasn't a big deal. I always thought that I would be the emotional type that cried at every milestone but have quickly realized that if I cried for each milestone they both hit, I would never stop! I can't believe how fast they are growing.
As for Cooper...well, he is still rotten. Rotten, stinkin, cutie pie is what he is. I wish I had better will power on getting on to him for the things that I should but he bats his eyes or gives me a crocked smile and I seem to forget about what he has done (like tee-teeing in his pants!) What a stinker that boy is. I have a feeling he is going to charm the ladies some day!
I got to talk to my Mimi this morning. Mimi is my grandma which makes her Madelyn and Cooper's great grandma. She has always taught me to take it all in because they grow up so fast. I never quite understood what that meant until I had children of my own. Now it makes perfect sense!
