Aquarium

We took the kids to the Aquarium on Friday morning.  We though, them being half fish and all, that they would love it. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to be the case.  Cooper was having more fun swinging from the handrails and every time Madelyn seemed "in to" something, she would quickly become bored and want to move on to the next thing.  Kevin and I were a little let down but if we were Ron Washington, I'm sure we would say "that is how parentin' goes."

Madelyn told us this evening that she was scared of her room.  Kevin asked her what scared her and she said "everything".  So I asked her what would make her feel better and she told me "sleeping on the couch".  Awww...she was breaking my heart!  But, she was extremely tired and fell asleep about 2 minutes later.

Cooper woke up this morning and told us "I not cry" which is a huge deal! The sun seems to be coming up a bit later and Cooper likes to start crying about the time the sun comes up. This works out well because it gives us a few minutes extra to sleep. It doesn't work out well for getting to work/school on time!
